Place Manager – Ashwood Chadstone

Port Phillip Housing Association (PPHA) (www.ppha.org.au) is a leading and rapidly growing independent not for profit community housing organization. We have a proud 24 year history of growth and our mission is to continue to increase the supply of quality affordable rental housing.

We are seeking a Place Manager for our Ashwood Chadstone Gateway Project (ACGP) which is a significant housing redevelopment project that will deliver 210 community and 72 private homes in Ashwood and Chadstone. 

The Place Manager will be responsible for providing leadership of a place management approach to the creation of a vibrant, thriving and well connected community that improves people’s housing, surrounds and liveability.

The successful applicant will have relevant qualifications and experience in leading the planning, implementation and evaluation of community building initiatives.  You will have a strong management and community development record in either the private or public sector. This role requires a high level of people skills, as well as enthusiasm, motivation and leadership.

To attract the right candidate, we are offering a competitive salary package, including the option to salary package and the use of a motor vehicle.

Tenancy and Property Workers (casual)

HomeGround is seeking expressions of interest to join our pool of casual Tenancy and Property Workers in St Kilda. This position has been designed primarily to ensure effective and efficient management of transitional housing tenancies and properties and will involve working with tenants and liaising with support agencies, contractors and other relevant parties as required. Applicants should have a customer service background, a compassionate approach and strong attention to detail.

Women’s Housing Ltd, a not for profit community housing company, is seeking to appoint a worker to manage transitional housing in the metropolitan region.   Working with a multi-disciplinary team, you will have a commitment to social justice principles and a rights based approach to housing.  Based in Richmond, the position is part-time (22.8 hours per week) and remuneration includes salary packaging benefits.

Women’s Housing Ltd, a not for profit community housing company, is seeking to appoint a worker to manage rooming houses in the metropolitan region.   Working with a multi-disciplinary team and the Housing Services manager, you will have a commitment to social justice principles and a rights based approach to housing.  The role will include responsibility for the management of a small social housing portfolio.  Based in Richmond, the position is full time and remuneration includes salary packaging benefits.
