Julian Harvey

Julian Harvey commenced his career in Local Government in 1990 as an assistant property valuer in the Yarra Valley. From this strong grounding in all aspects of property practice he moved to the City of Maribyrnong with a new focus on pure property management. Julian has undertaken developments of Council land including subdivisions, renovations and new building construction together with leasing and disposals.

In 2005 Julian joined the City of Kingston as Manger of Property Services to provide stewardship of all of Councils owned and controlled land and to manage the Municipal Valuation Contract.  Julian’s 20 years of experience provides Kingston with the knowledge and professionalism required to meet the challenging environment facing Council, as local government aspires to the highest standards of probity and procurement.

In 2008 Julian was appointed as convener of the LG Pro Property Network, a group that is committed to continued professional development of property professionals within Local Government. Julian is committed to providing strategic property management to ensure Councils across Victoria can continue to meet the needs of their communities.
