David Keenan

David Keenan is the Director City Sustainability at Hume City Council.  At Hume City Council, David manages the areas of Statutory and Strategic Planning, Economic Development, Sustainable Environment, Transit City & Urban Design.  Prior to Hume, David has been employed in senior roles at Ballarat, Warrnambool and Melton, and has been employed in local government for almost 15 years.

David Keenan was the inaugural Chair of Economic Development Australia, a national organization with over 600 members and is currently a Board Member of the Northern Regional Development Australia Committee, Environs Australia and a member of the Property Council of Australia Planning Committee.  David possesses qualifications in Business, Environmental Science and Planning.
