Alice Lawson

Alice Lawson is the Acting Director, Affordable Housing & Asset Strategy in Housing SA and works closely with planners, local government and developers as well as on the national scene with senior executives across the Australia.

She has worked for the state housing department for 8 years and is now responsible for affordable housing planning reform and  the implementation of the SA inclusionary policy for 15% affordable housing within all new significant developments.   She is also responsible for the strategic planning of public and community housing assets across the state.

Over the past 4 years, Alice has supported the SA Housing Minister nationally in the negotiation of national agreements and in support of the implementation of new national affordable housing initiatives.

Her background also includes work in the community housing sector as well as the housing industry in the USA before moving to Australia in 1995.
