Membership with the Community Housing Federation of Victoria is an essential component for any organisation wanting to maximise its involvement in the community housing sector. The benefits of membership include:
- The Employee Assistance Program, which provides confidential referral to provisional counselling for all staff of our member organisations and their immidiate family
- A connection with the community housing industry and its various members
- Access to industry conferences and seminars at discounted rates
- Active participation in policy formulation and decision-making (note: full members only have voting rights)
- Advocacy by CHFV on behalf of member organisations to Government
- Access to seminars and training designed specifically to improve professional standards within the community housing sector (at discounted rates)
- Delivery of the CHFV News (published three times per year) and the CHFV Bulletin (published monthly except January)

- Assistance with tenancy (RTA) issues either through our training program or direct advice from skilled staff in this area
