CHFV Budget Response

On Tuesday the Victorian Government handed down its first budget.

As the budget had no new initiatives for the community housing sector, CHFV has written to the Minister directly to outline some very pressing matters that the Government will need to address. The community housing sector has the ability to lead growth in this area.

2011 Innovation and Excellence Awards – Enter Now!

Nominations for projects submitted as part of the Property Council of Australia / Rider Levett Bucknall 2011 Innovation and Excellence Awards is simpler than ever.

There is no synopsis required for the 2011 National Awards program – only one nomination process. 

CHFV members who would like to submit one or several projects should complete these three steps:
1. Visit www.propertyoz.com.au/awards and select the award category from the drop down menu. 
2. Download the nomination and criteria forms. 
3. Upload your completed nomination form, submission, images and payment all online. 

The Property Council of Australia Awards represent an opportunity to ensure innovation and excellence in Victorian community housing projects are recognised. Nominations must be submitted by Monday 31 January 2011. Good luck!
