Pathways to a new Victorian Social Housing Framework

On 30 April, the Minister for Housing, the Hon Wendy Lovell MLC announced that the Victorian Government will begin a three month public consultation process on the future direction of social housing. Over the past two years there have been a Parliamentary Inquiry and two reports by the Victorian Auditor General into public and community housing in Victoria. To guide the public consultation process, the Minister for Housing has released two discussion papers, which bring together a range of ideas to promote public discussion.
